All written while waiting for the tea to come to a boil.
Passover weekend was delightful. There is a post somewhere on this site about how much Passover sucks, well I suppose I’ve grown or changed because Passover did not suck so much. Yeh there was a lot of family time, awkward conversations with family friends, and the usual shit I hate, but I love spending time with my brother. We have a really great time together. I love seeing my father and my mother, and my sisters, well she’s okay too. So all in all, Passover was not so bad.
I went to see the Postal Service Saturday night at the Bowery Ballroom. This guy, Cex, opened for them. I don’t know if my writing abilities can properly describe his act, but I will do my best. First he is a tall really white guy with bleached blond hair, an elastic elbow pad, black nail polish and eyeliner, a tight red beater, and short short probably just boxer shorts, red shorts. Oh and he wore 12 inch heel boots with spikes. So he is quite a site in general. And then he didn’t perform on stage, he stood in the crowd. I hate writing this crap. He had bad BO. Blah blah blah, I had some really funny one liners with him and he credited me at the end of the act. Tea is done. Let me just get on that and I will finish writing this. Oh and Postal Service was great, but I swear “such great heights” sounds better on CD. And that chick in the band, yeh, she’s really hot.
I hung out with my friends from high school after the show. Again, I am not going into great detail, I just want to write down that we had an awesome time. Man I thought this post was going to be great, but it isn’t. Anyway, so I was hesitant about seeing my old friends because I felt that they wouldn’t understand that I’ve changed, or wouldn’t notice it, and then I’d feel very disenchanted with myself. But that didn’t happen. And that, in a nutshell, keeping a lot to myself, was my weekend. Sorry?
