"Last night I had a lovely dream: I saw a big parade with ticker tape galore, and men were marching there the likes I'd never seen before...The bankers and the diplomats are going in the army it seemed a shame to keep them from the wars they loved to plan. Were all of us contented that we'll fight a dandy war. They don't need propoganda they no what there fighting for. They'll march away with dignity and in the best of form and we'll just keep the laddies here to keep their lovers warm!"
I prefer to speek entirly in quotes when discussing war..."It's a hard rain's gonna fall."

"going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion. You just leave a lot of useless noisy baggage behind."
Demosthenes2003-03-21
France had more casualties in WW1 than the U.S. had in Vietnam, WW1, and WW2. When France was battling the the blitzkrieg in 1939-1940 the US was sitting across the ocean with isolationist policies. I wouldnt call that an accordion.
