People are really stupid, but that's okay because you choose to deal with them. So in the spirit of "real" blogging, some links. First one is this blog I read for the first time today because I was reading Kyle's site (intersection) and went to the top ten list to see if I was back up there yet, wasn't so I check the number one site to see what it takes to be number one. The site is called Troubled Diva. The first post was a thing about Proper blogging (as I am sure you will now read.) As you can tell, it is funny and clever, I even commented on what I thought (on his site, check it out). Just give me a minute there is a point I will make and then I will stop referring you to other places. The next link is Absinthh. She has a post where someone calls her a script kiddie for using Dreamweaver when they are both using livejournal. Dumbass (not you absinthh that other guy). So the point is - eh I don't know, don't call people stupid that easily. :-) . That was a really stupid point.

The Sopranos better come out with a fifth season cause I just saw the end of season 4 and well, Tony and Carmella can work out their issues if they just would communicate and she wasn't so selfish about the divorce. I mean yeh, he has his issues also, but I mean come on. So I need a 5th season in order to see what happens! That made me think of Sex in the City and how much I miss that show, which of course, made me think of New York and how much I miss that city. sigh new york. Then thinking about that, I thought about telling you this. There is another great site (if you are a blogger and care about finding great sites), NYC Bloggers that lists all the blogs in New York City via location. I've found that like 98% of all blogs on the web suck. I mean really silly things. (Hehe). The best place to find good blogs is a) my links b) Kyle's links c) NYC Bloggers. I mean maybe it has to do with New Yorkers being more creative or more wordely, who knows? But they are just really interesting. I don't read any of them religously, I don't read anything religously. I don't like being religous about things. But just clicking on any of those NY blogs, that days post is always good. I found someone the other night whose post was about his day, and then it stops and goes "And then I got the feeling the 2nd Ave. really needed a snowman." That's just great, you know? Of course you know. So go check out some other blogs and if they give you shit, just tell them I sent you. Oh and I updated the links on my site so check out the new ones.

How To Get Kicked Out of Your Dorm and Live Alone Succesfully at 19

Some little tips I've picked up after living alone for one month.

Living alone is not easy, especially when you've had a wonderful mother that did everything for you your entire life, which of course, you took for granted your entire life. So you are going to need furniture. What you want to avoid is pricey things, alone you don't really need to impress anyone. Stay away from things like Coffee Tables and expensive dishwear. Then you need lights. Get things that have high wattage cause you will need less light fixtures. Use those new florecent bulbs that fit in standard sockets. They give out a whiter, more natural light. They use much less wattage so you pay less in electricity and they last like 10x longer than incandecent bulbs.
Cooking is really hard. My best advice is do weekly meals. Like one week make noodle dishes. One week make vegtable dishes. One week make meat dishes. That will help you develop cooking skills in one area a time, each night you will progress on that meal. Use your leftovers the next day because eating leftovers after that is really bad. Only use the dishwasher for full loads. Steal silverware from University Dining halls. A good thing to make is raman noodles, but cut some carrots into the soup, use some garlic salt, cause Raman gets really gross, so make it interesting. The canned soups (cambels and Chunky) have been really good, Chef Boyardee has not been so good. Tuna Fish is really great. Get the water tuna, the oil makes it really fatty. You can squeeze half a lemon into two cans (you want to make a lot at once so you only have to do it once, if you have leftover tuna, make a sandwidch for lunch) cut like a 1/4 of an onion really finly and add that. Celery and roman lettuce are good too. Then put a bit of honey dijon mustard into the mix with a bit of mayonasse. Dill sandwidch slices also help make a filling and healthy sandwidch. I like cutting them into triangles, but some people like rectangals. I think I need to build a spell checker for my posts, can you guys even read this? Maybe I will move into Word to write my posts from now on and then fill out the form online. Anyway that is a good tuna dish. Also, you can put an open faced sandwidch in the over (at like 350 f) with a slice of cheese and make a great tuna melt. Always clean up the kitchen before you eat the meal, cause afterwards, you won't feel like cleaning and you may leave something (like cheese) out until the morning to find it gross.
