The various language departments in UW-Madison are always giving away books. After taking a german test and going to a german review, I went to the book give away and picked up some awesome film journals. Really cool shit. Talk to everyone later, peace yall.

My semester finished today. It was very exciting, and I am fucking glad its over. I leave for israel on saturday. I think I am going to get one more post out - a conclusion wrap up type one and then close the site for around 2 weeks while I am on vacation. Maybe I will do reruns or something.

Hi Avi. Avi is your name, right? I have a question. I am sitting here in my little government job, wanting to get out and go home, so i'm killing time. I go to google and plug in the lyrics of one of my favorite Jeff Mangum (of Neutral Milk Hotel) songs, and I come across your site (!) because you've posted the same lyrics in your Poetry section. My question is, did you a) mean to sample these lyrics and give credit where due, but neglect to, b) write said lyrics, and you know jeff mangum, and HE stole the lyrics, or c) plaigarize? I am quite curious, and bored. Thank you. The lyrics follow:

I am a friend of Avi's and if, as he says in this piece's comments section, he cannot properly respond to your accusation, i will vouch for him. Avi is a big fan of neutral milk hotel, he constantly plays their music in his car, which incidentally, turned myself and several others onto their music. Therefore it can be said that he loves and respects Jeff Mangum as an artist, in which case he is not trying to pass his lyrics off as his own. Avi is simply displaying this beautiful poem for all to wallow in its splendor. Quoting is so unneccessary, one doesnt view art for the artist, one views it for the art.
