Now I'm Artsy Wordy and Dorky

Meteor Shower

Apparently, the best meteor shower of my lifetime will occur tonight over the clearly dark skies of Madison Wisconsin. A rash decision of me and some people on my floor, including future roomie Kori, to stay up all night was made on the belief that we are capable of occupying not only the long days, but the night. To my surprise, that’s a joke, I am bored. It is 3am and I have an hour to kill. Thus, I am going to write another good daily dose. I feel the last few have been pretty good.

I have some questions for my readers about my site, as I passed 10,000 visitors and I approach the one year anniversary of the site (65 days to go). In terms of writing, what is most important to update? Do you want essay style Daily Doses, each with a specific theme and purpose, or do you want just daily diary type entries about my life? Should I post all my academic essays and articles? What stories are your favorites? Do you read the stories? Do you like the design? What features should I add to the site? Do you want me to make more serial text type writing projects that I won’t abandon as easily as I have with Kansas O’Rogers and Sweeter than the Rest? Well let me know, I ask everyone reading the site today to comment about some aspect of the site. Thank you ;-).

First, I took the morning off. I then went to Zoology. After Zoology, where I spent most of my time reading The Moonstone, I had coffee with Fritz. Despite her physically forcing me to patron Starbucks, I had a good time. Fritz went to get a haircut and I went photographing around downtown Madison. I ended up near the lake and took some really nice shots that will probably be posted after I complete this post, but who knows? I got home and slept. Did some work and then well the rest of the night. The only thing worth mentioning is I watched Breathless. I fucking love that movie.

Tommorow, today, I am meeting this girl in Kori’s art class named Liz. Liz is from New York too and wants to meet me, so that’s cool. I have so much laundry to do. I have so much school work I haven’t done that I won’t ever do. I have so many little things to do that I am not going to do. I have so much writing to compete that I wont complete. FUCK I AM SO TERRIBLE ABOUT FINISHING THINGS. I hate the way my personality works. When I was a kid I could never finish a Karate level. I just didn’t have the discipline. And it seems to be carrying into my entire life. Right now, I could just take the laundry to the laundry room. Get four loads going and finish it all at once, while I read The Moonstone. But I probably won’t do that. FUCK IT. I am going to do it. See everyone later.

I now have three loads of laundry going and I am reading the Moonstone. I will defeat myself and come out victor.

so this is my opportunity to trash the site...actually i love the site, makes me feel like im keeping in touch even when im not. i have to admit, i get a little lost when you start waxing philosophical, but i like hearing about your day. its nice to live vicariously through someone who has an actual life and doesnt just sit and learn all day.

oh yeah, and "Urban Addictions", can't explain it but I love that story. By the way, thought you'd like to know, my roommate reads your site religiously and loves it. Apparently, my bizarre Ramaz friends fascinate her, though she did get upset when Savage trashed republicans. I'm thinking of introducing her to Eric.

Don't introduce her to Eric, we don't need more republicans running around in the world.

I read it, so heres my comment. You need a section for new photography. If you did post anything new, right now I do not have the patience to go through all of the old stuff. As far as the daily dose, just go with the flow. Right whatever you want to write. In fact, that is the whole beauty of it. By the way, we definately do not need any more republicans.
