Man oh Man. I want to do something really brilliant with my life. Any ideas?
Fuck.
I'm gonna shower.
I was in a pretty lousy mood this morning and well into the afternoon. On my way back from Zoology 101, I was wearing my black coat (A pea coat I believe), a longsleeve gray tshirt, on top of that a white and blue striped red polo shirt, and some very cottony tan pants, and most importantly, my red converse. Now imagine the scene. I am walking down a hill on a gravel path. It is a cold brisk day, walking outside one can't help but smell the approaching winter. The lake to the left is coughing a breeze that whistles in the branches of the fall trees of leaves yellow, red, green; the browns ones on the ground rusteling. There I am, listening to Belle and Sebastian, perhaps singing, smoking a ciggerrette, I fix my rectangular black wire framed glasses firmly upon my nose. Strolling even and a bit to the left of the path where the lawn invades, I am looking around and thinking about my place in Wisconsin. I began enjoying the refreshing cold air when all of a sudden I sliped on the gravel, my red converse loose grip of the ground and kick up all sorts of dust while my body tries to prevent the inevitable fall about to occur. Defeating gravity, I regain my balance and resume my nonchalant stroll down the hill. And I notice a few feet ahead of me an attractive girl smiling right at me, witnessing my triumph over nature and the expression of pure selfserving satisfaction on my face. I knew instantly that she wasn't just laughing about me tripping, her face revealed the depth of her perception of my victory. She understood everything and as our paths came to meet, her still smiling, me revealing only a gilmpse of embaracment over the abundance of happiness - the source of which was her smile. We walked past eachother with a barley audible laugh and continued a few feet, both turned around and said, "Hello."
