See the jewish calender is lunar, as opposed to ours, which is solar. Being lunar, the day starts that night. So a holiday really spans from the sunset of the day before until the next sunset (2 american days). So tonight was the first day of the holiday of purim. There was this small party at my school and I went and had an okay time. I wore a tshirt from Jews for Jesus. It was funny.
